Here comes with a FAQ of our customers' frequently asked questions to see if they can be answered!


  1. Large furniture or musical instruments
    FreightAmigo's professional packing team will come to your home to disassemble and pack your furniture. For fragile items such as televisions, glass tables, etc., we offer a customised wooden crate service to ensure safe delivery. FreightAmigo recommends that you send a photo and dimensions of your furniture to WhatsApp +852 2746 7829.

    Note : If you are shipping wooden furniture, the wood may need to be fumigated, depending on the quarantine regulations of the destination.

  2. Cartons
    FreightAmigo provides customers with thicker double pitted cartons for free, which are more durable than the market cartons and can carry a weight of approximately 22kg! If you have already prepared your own box, please provide a photo of the box to our specialist to ensure that it is in a suitable condition for shipping and that it meets the pre-shipment standards.

  3. Tenement or Village House Addresses
    FreightAmigo's quotes offer free delivery to house and lift-accessible residential addresses. If your delivery address does not have a lift and is a tenement or village address, you will need to contact our specialist before placing your order and provide a short video showing the condition of the stairs so that they can quote you a price.

    If the destination address also requires a staircase, please also provide us with the relevant information so that we can provide you with a professional moving solution and quotation.

  4. Two Delivery Addresses
    FreightAmigo can arrange for two pick-up locations on the same day, so it is recommended that you inform your specialist approximately one week in advance. Additional charges may apply for two locations, depending on the location and number of cartons.

  5. Arrange Pink-up/Delivery Service
    FreightAmigo can arrange same day delivery and pick-up of boxes as soon as possible, as well as on weekends and public holidays. Alternatively, we can arrange for additional back-up boxes to be delivered in case of emergencies. No charges will be incurred for unused cartons. Prior to collection, the customer's completed Packing List will be checked to ensure there are no prohibited items before collection is arranged.

  6. Warehousing services and fees
    FreightAmigo Relocation Service offers 14 days Hong Kong storage free of charge. For additional storage, we will charge HKD 400 / CBM / 2 weeks, less than 2 weeks will be counted as 2 weeks. Only if the customer requires special storage will the customer be charged, and no charge will be made if the storage period is delayed due to the ship' s schedule.

  7. Cargo Delivery
    FreightAmigo provides a door-to-door delivery service. Once the customer has packed up their home, we will collect the goods and deliver them safely to the destination. If the destination address is bungalow, the cartons will be moved inside and the wooden crate will be removed and delivered to the house; if the destination address is a flat, the goods will not be moved upstairs.

    *Please note that in the US, Japan and New Zealand, the goods will be delivered to the garage or garden location of your address.

    (If you need to move upstairs, you may need to provide your address to our specialist for quotation)

  8. Container Quote

    FreightAmigo provides container service with a typical 20ft full container capacity of 25CBM and a capacity of approximately 16 and 10 standard and oversized shipping cartons per 1CBM. If you have a large amount of furniture to be moved in addition to the cartons, you can consider a full container for moving.
