When receiving parcels imported to Taiwan, or buying overseas goods that are entering the customs, a clearance approval document must be obtained in order to pass the customs smoothly, while the approval document is obtained through real name verification in EZWAY.

EZWAY has digitalized previous paper-based clearance procedures. Consignee just have to fill in their Name, Identification Card Details, and Phone Number to complete real name verification. The customs will confirm with the consignees whether they are the buyer of the goods through EZWAY. Once confirmed, the custom clearance is completed. EZWAY digitalizes previous clearance procedures. Consignees are not required to provide personal information to delivery man, thereby reducing the risks of leakage and misappropriation. Once the personal information are misused for declaration, you can also inquire and report to the customs through the app.

Sure! You can track the clearance status through EZWAY. If it shows "Customs Release" and "Out of Warehouse", meaning that the clearance procedure is completed. Yet, the APP can only track the progress till clearance completed. If you want to track the shipment status, you can go to FreightAmigo - MyShipment to follow up the logistic progress.

Remember to provide the personal information of registered consignees i.e., Chinese Name and Identification Card Number. You can specify these information when filling in consignees' information when placing an order.
